Compoveda Tequila

Compoveda is Tequila for people who thought they’d never love Tequila. For sipping, not shooting. For sharing and for celebrating. The name Compoveda comes from a marriage of the two Spanish words “compartir” - to share - and “boveda” - a private vault - meaning that these Tequilas have been made with sharing special expressions in mind.

About Compoveda Tequila

The Tequilas in this collection are sourced from different distilleries known for their aging techniques. Compoveda Reposado is aged for 8 months in used American bourbon barrels, then finished in California Cabernet barrels while the Extra Añejo is aged 5 years in French and American Oak red wine barrels from California and finished in medium charred American oak barrels. We find both expressions to be medium-bodied, with notes of oak, vanilla, caramel, and hints of red jammy fruit.

The Blanco is distilled twice in copper stills and oxygenated to create a modern sipping blanco.
