Tapatio is the partnership between Marko Karakasevic of Charbay Distillery in northern California with Master Distiller Carlos Camarena at La Alteña distillery in Jalisco (NOM #1139).
Aged in oak for 4 years, and then rested in 5 liter glass vessels before bottling.

Nose: Hot caramel apples, intense agave and hidden florals tones
Palate: An explosion of earthy notes, brown sugar, traditional tequila spiciness and hint of chocolatey black tea, wrapped soft oak.
Finish: Extremely long and rich- but not sweet.
Will appeal to whiskey and bourbon lovers who like a little heat and spice on the finish.
