One of the most coveted limited-edition tequilas in the world, Gran Patron Burdeos Anejo is a masterclass in luxury aging, finished in authentic vintage Bordeaux wine barrels that set it apart from any other anejo on the market.
Crafted at Patron's distillery in Atotonilco, El Alto under NOM 1492, this exceptional anejo begins its journey aged for a minimum of 12 months in a combination of used American oak and new French oak barrels. The tequila is then finished in rare vintage Bordeaux barrels, a process the brand calls "Burdeos," the Spanish word for Bordeaux. Produced in very limited quantities, each bottle arrives in a velvet-lined wooden box complete with a custom corkscrew and a signature crystal Patron bee stopper, making it as much a collector's piece as a spirit to be savored.
- Nose: Hints of oak and vanilla unfold alongside touches of dried cherries and apricots, with the wine barrel finish adding a distinctly elegant depth.
- Palate: Luxurious notes of dark stone fruits, toasted oak, creamy caramel, and baking spices layer beautifully, reflecting both the agave character and the influence of the Bordeaux barrels.
- Finish: Medium in length, slightly sweet and gently drying, with a refined elegance that lingers.
Gran Patron Burdeos is best appreciated neat or on a single large ice cube to let the full complexity of the Bordeaux finish open up. For those who prefer a cocktail, it brings remarkable depth to a classic Old Fashioned or a sophisticated Tequila Manhattan.
Serve neat or over a single large rock to fully experience this rare spirit. Made from 100% Weber Blue agave, Gran Patron Burdeos Anejo is produced in the highlands of Atotonilco, El Alto, Jalisco, a region celebrated for producing agave with naturally sweeter, more fruit-forward characteristics.
