Tequila ABV

Tequila ABV
Ever heard the myth that Tequila gets you more tipsy than other spirits? Well, while Tequilas might make us feel better than other spirits while we are drinking it, it’s alcohol by volume, is right in line with most bourbons, whiskeys, gins, and vodkas. Legally, Tequila can be bottled anywhere from 35%-55% ABV but many countries set their own minimums at which it must be sold. In the US, its a minimum of 40%, in Mexico 35%, Europe 38%, and South Africa 43%.
