About Campo Azul

It starts with the first generation of agave producers in Casa Campo Azul, around the 1960s. They decided to dedicate their lives to growing agave inside Jesus Maria, Jalisco. The beginning of this legacy is born from the red earth of Jesús María, in the highlands of Jalisco, among abundant fields of blue agave and the vision of Don Ricardo López, who thanks to his passion for work and dedication for many years, has made Casa Campo Azul a reference in the art of making tequila of the highest quality.

Many years later, in 1996, Casa Campo Azul Distillery was inaugurated under the shelter of Productos Finos de Agave. Nowadays, it’s the third generation of the family the one that runs the company and it maintains their own agave sowings guaranteeing the quality of the plant.
