From the highlands of El Arenal, Jalisco, Cascahuin Anejo Tequila is a rare expression of traditional craftsmanship, rested in well-seasoned American oak barrels for 14 to 16 months under the guidance of master distiller Salvador Chava Rosales.
Produced at NOM 1123 using 100% agave and time-honored methods, this anejo tequila draws its character from barrels with over 20 years of tequila maturation history, allowing the spirit's natural agave soul to speak through the oak rather than be overshadowed by it. Verified Additive Free by Tequila Matchmaker, Cascahuin Anejo is a testament to honest, transparent production rooted in the El Arenal region of Jalisco.
- Nose: Toasted oak, cooked agave, honey, orange pith, and delicate dried flowers
- Palate: Wet earth and toasted oak open to coating, oily richness with cooked agave at the core, while herbal and grassy notes remind you this is still very much a Cascahuin tequila
- Finish: A journey that begins with a warm spice, blooms across the palate, and closes with a clean, lingering breath of fresh agave and licorice
Cascahuin Anejo shines when sipped neat or on a single large ice cube, and it brings exceptional depth to a classic Old Fashioned or a refined Tequila Manhattan where its earthy, oak-driven complexity can take center stage.
Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate its full range; crafted from 100% agave grown in El Arenal, Jalisco.
