Aged 25 months in used bourbon barrels, Clase Azul Anejo is a richly layered sipping tequila that blurs the line between highland agave spirit and fine bourbon country. Its iconic hand-painted ceramic decanter, a tribute to Mazahua indigenous artistry, is as collectible as what is inside.
Crafted under NOM 1595 in San Agustin, Jalisco, this anejo tequila is produced by Casa Tradicion using traditional methods that honor the deep agave heritage of the region. The extended bourbon barrel aging draws out a luxurious depth rarely found in the category.
- Nose: Warm vanilla, rich caramel, toasted oak, and subtle bourbon barrel character
- Palate: Vanilla and caramel lead into butterscotch, oak, baking spices, and a lingering bourbon-forward warmth
- Finish: Long and velvety, with soft oak up front giving way to a buttery vanilla essence reminiscent of a fine bourbon close
Clase Azul Anejo is exceptional neat or on a single large ice cube, and its butterscotch depth makes it a showstopper in an Anejo Old Fashioned or a premium Tequila Manhattan.
Best served neat or over a single large rock to let the full complexity unfold. Produced from blue Weber agave in San Agustin, Jalisco.
