─ Behind the Brand ─

About Corazón Tequila

Corazón is made at Casa San Matías in Ojo de Agua de Latillas, in the Jalisco Highlands, a distillery with more than 130 years of tequila tradition. Master distiller Rocío Rodríguez oversees every Corazón tequila, starting with hand-harvested Highland blue Weber agave. The brand is imported by Sazerac, the company behind Buffalo Trace. Its Expresiones del Corazón series rests tequila in barrels from Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection, such as George T. Stagg, and the barrels are checked every two months until each one is ready.
