About El Luchador Tequila

El Luchador comes from tequilero David Ravandi, who has worked in artisanal tequila since the mid 1990s and also makes 123 Organic Tequila. He named it for Mexico's masked lucha libre wrestlers, joining two of the country's best loved traditions. The tequila first came from the Tequila Valley at NOM 1480 and is now made in the Jalisco Highlands at NOM 1517. Agave is cooked in autoclaves, crushed with a roller mill and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The lineup includes a 110 proof still strength Blanco, a Reposado rested four to six months and an Añejo rested fourteen to sixteen months in oak.
