About El Tenor

Arturo’s story didn’t begin in the grand opera houses of Europe, but with the vibrant sounds of mariachi. As a young student, he won his very first mariachi singing competition; the prize was a single bottle of tequila. That life changing moment sparked a fascination that followed him throughout his career. As Arturo’s operatic journey took him around the globe, his youthful ambition to create a tequila brand matured alongside his voice. What began as a young man’s dream evolved into a mission: to create a tequila that carries the same resonance, emotion, and technical perfection as a flawless aria, reflecting the authentic soul of Mexico he respects and loves. This dedication gave birth to “El Tenor Tequila.”
