About ElVelo Tequila

ElVelo is a tequila from the Tequila valley of Jalisco, made from blue Weber agave grown on a single estate in the lowland region known as Los Valles. The agave is cooked in stone ovens, crushed with a screw mill and fermented with natural yeast in open-air tanks. It is distilled twice in a stainless steel still with copper coils and bottled at 89 proof. The Reposado rests in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, and nothing is added to either expression.
