About Gran Coramino Tequila

Gran Coramino was founded by Kevin Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, an 11th-generation tequila maker whose family is credited with creating the Cristalino style. It is made at La Rojeña in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, from Blue Weber agave grown 6 to 8 years in estate and partner fields. The agave steam-roasts for 36 to 40 hours in masonry brick ovens, then is crushed on a four-step roller mill and fermented with a proprietary yeast in closed stainless tanks. Every batch is double distilled in copper pot stills, and the Cristalino is finished in California Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, a nod to Kevin Hart's home state.
