About Kokoro

KOKORO takes its name from the Japanese idea of kokoro, where heart, mind and spirit meet, and founder Howard Cao built it around that sense of balance. It is made at Destiladora Bonanza, NOM 1604, under Maestra Tequilera Rocío Rodríguez, carrying on more than 140 years of tequila making. Blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco is slow cooked in brick ovens and crushed by stone tahona. It ferments in open-air pine pipones with native yeast and spring water, then is distilled in copper pot stills.
