About Tres Generaciones

Tres Generaciones is made at La Perseverancia in Tequila, Jalisco, the distillery Don Cenobio Sauza founded in 1873. The name honors three generations of the Sauza family: Don Cenobio, his son Don Eladio and his grandson Don Francisco Javier. In 1973, for the distillery's 100th anniversary, Don Francisco Javier served guests an añejo aged over a year in its cellars, poured from 100 green ceramic bottles engraved with the three Dons. The Plata, Reposado, Añejo and Cristalino are distilled three times. The 50th Anniversary Añejo honors that first recipe, aged 14 months in American oak barrels charred in house.
