Born at the legendary Cascahuin distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco, El Gran Legado Still Strength is a rare single-release blanco tequila bottled straight from the still in a limited run of just 2,000 bottles for the US market.
Crafted under the guidance of Master Distiller Salvador "Chava" Rosales using NOM 1123 and agaves sourced from Michoacan, this blanco tequila is confirmed Additive Free by Tequila Matchmaker, representing exactly what the agave and the land intended with nothing else added. Only 1,500 liters were produced, making each bottle a genuine piece of Jalisco heritage.
- Nose: Warm heat that softens into peppery sweetness with pops of vegetal and mineral character as it opens up in the glass.
- Palate: Crisp yet creamy mouthfeel layered with bright mint, cinnamon, and white pepper.
- Finish: Long and warm, finishing on rich cooked agave that lingers with satisfying depth.
El Gran Legado Still Strength is a natural fit for a classic Paloma or a minimalist tequila soda where its bold, clean character can take center stage without competition.
Best enjoyed neat or on a single large ice cube to let the still-strength expression fully reveal itself. Produced from agaves harvested in Michoacan at the Cascahuin distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco.
