Tapatio is the partnership between Marko Karakasevic of Charbay distillery in northern California with Master Distiller Carlos Camarena at La AlteƱa distillery in Jalisco (NOM #1139).
Aged in oak for 4 years, and then rested in 5 liter glass vessels before bottling.

Nose:Ā Hot caramel apples, intense agave and hidden florals tonesĀ
Palate:Ā An explosion of earthy notes, brown sugar, traditional tequila spiciness and hint of chocolatey black tea, wrappedĀ soft oak.Ā
