From the highland agave fields of Los Altos, Jalisco, Volans Extra Anejo is a patient spirit refined over three-plus years in American oak bourbon casks under the care of master distiller Felipe Camarena.
Crafted at NOM 1579 in Jesus Maria, this 100% Blue Weber agave tequila is made with a blend of rain, spring, and well water and is entirely additive free, meaning no glycerine, flavors, colors, or any other additives ever touch the liquid.
- Nose: Sweet cooked agave, light oak, cinnamon, and dried apricots
- Palate: Roasted agave, vanilla bean, lightly toasted oak, smoked almonds, black pepper, and butterscotch
- Finish: Round and smooth with dry notes of pepper and oak on the tail end
