Where the highlands meet the valley, Volcan De Mi Tierra Blanco Tequila captures the best of both worlds through a masterful blend of agaves from Jalisco's two most celebrated growing regions. Confirmed Additive Free by Tequila Matchmaker, this is a blanco built for those who demand both purity and complexity.

Produced at Agrotequilera de Jalisco (NOM 1523) in Huaxtla, Jalisco, Volcan De Mi Tierra draws blue agave from the earthy Tequila Valley and the mineral-rich Los Altos highlands. The distillery marries traditional production methods with modern technology to coax every dimension of flavor from the plant, resulting in a blanco that is simultaneously rooted in heritage and refined for today's discerning palate.

  • Nose: Cooked agave, fresh citrus, cool mint, and ripe pear
  • Palate: Cooked agave leads with bright citrus, a lift of mint, and a sweet pear finish
  • Finish: Crisp and clean

Volcan De Mi Tierra Blanco is an exceptional choice for elevated cocktails. Its bright, herbal character makes it a natural stand-in for gin or vodka, excelling in a classic Margarita or a citrus-forward Tequila Gimlet.

Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the backbone of your favorite cocktail. Made from 100% blue agave sourced across Jalisco's Tequila Valley and Los Altos highlands.

Volcán de Mi Tierra is named for the Tequila volcano, whose eruption about 200,000 years ago left the valley's soil rich in basalt and iron. The brand began in 2017 as a partnership between Moët Hennessy and the Gallardo family, who have owned Hacienda La Gavilana in the volcano's shadow since the 17th century. Master tequilier Tomás Pérez blends agave from the Valley and the Highlands at the brand's distillery in Huaxtla, Jalisco. The agave cooks for 42 hours in stone ovens and ferments slowly in wood tanks before two distillations in copper pots.

Huaxtla is a farming community of about 2,000 people in the municipality of El Arenal, in the Tequila valley west of Guadalajara. The land around it is mostly flat volcanic farmland between roughly 1,400 and 1,600 meters, with a semi-warm climate and summer rains. Blue agave and corn are the main crops, and tequila making is the municipality's leading industry. El Arenal lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
