About Loca Loka Tequila

Actor and producer Rana Daggubati, composer Anirudh Ravichander, one of Spotify's most-streamed artists, and entrepreneur Harsha Vadlamudi launched Loca Loka in 2024. The name joins the Spanish loca, crazy, with the Sanskrit loka, world, a nod to the Indian and Mexican cultures behind it. The tequila is made at Tequilas El Mexicano in Arandas, in the Jalisco Highlands, under master tequilero León Bañuelos Ramírez. Highland agave is cooked in low-pressure autoclaves, crushed with a roller mill, fermented to classical music and distilled twice in pot stills.
