About Paladar Tequila

Paladar is made at El Llano, NOM 1109, in Tequila, Jalisco, with master distiller Eduardo Orendain Jr. Seven-year-old Blue Weber agave from estate fields is slow cooked in brick ovens and pressed on a roller mill. Juice and fibers ferment together in open-air pine boxes with wild and proprietary yeast, then are distilled twice in a copper and stainless steel pot still. The Reposado rests four months in ex-bourbon barrels. Each bottle is hand-dipped in the volcanic soil of the agave fields.
