A trailblazing spirit founded, farmed, and distilled entirely by women, 1953 Anejo Tequila honors tradition while carving its own legacy from the highlands of Jalisco.
Crafted at NOM 1604 under the direction of Master Distiller Rocio Rodriguez in Ojo de Agua de Latillas, Jalisco, this anejo is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged in American Oak barrels previously seasoned with bourbon, a process that coaxes layers of warmth and complexity from the agave without overshadowing its natural character.
- Nose: Inviting aromas of caramel and vanilla with a bright lift of citrus and subtle hints of chocolate.
- Palate: Rich and smooth, with caramel and vanilla at the fore balanced by the earthy sweetness of pure Blue Weber agave and gentle notes of dark chocolate and citrus zest.
- Finish: Long and warm with lingering vanilla, a whisper of chocolate, and a clean agave finish that reflects the spirit of its Jalisco roots.
1953 Anejo Tequila shines in an Anejo Old Fashioned, where its caramel and vanilla depth anchor the cocktail beautifully, or sipped alongside a classic Paloma to let its citrus notes sing.
Best enjoyed neat or on a single large ice cube to fully appreciate its aged complexity. Made with 100% Blue Weber agave from Ojo de Agua de Latillas, Jalisco, 1953 Tequila is a celebration of women in spirits and the timeless craft of Mexican distilling.
