A Double Gold winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Aguasol Blanco Tequila is additive-free agave spirits at its most honest, bottled straight from one of Jalisco's most storied distilleries.

Produced at the legendary Cascahuin Distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco (NOM 1123), Aguasol has honored traditional craftsmanship since 1904. Blue Weber Agave is slow-steamed in stone and brick ovens, then combined with natural spring water to create a blanco of exceptional clarity and character.

  • Nose: Fresh agave, light citrus, and clean herbal notes that speak to the spirit's unfiltered purity.
  • Palate: Bright and vibrant, with sweet cooked agave, subtle pepper, and a crisp mineral quality drawn from the spring water source.
  • Finish: Clean and refreshing, with a gentle warmth and lingering vegetal sweetness.

Aguasol Blanco shines in a classic Margarita or Paloma, where its pure, expressive character elevates the cocktail without competing with it.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to appreciate its full depth; Aguasol Blanco is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave in El Arenal, Jalisco, and carries additive-free certification for a truly authentic pour.

Aguasol was started by Charles Attal, co-founder of the company behind the Austin City Limits festival, and Eddie Margain, co-founder of Austin FC, after the idea came up backstage at ACL. They spent four years visiting distilleries before choosing the Rosales family's Cascahuín in El Arenal. Agave grown around 1,400 meters in volcanic soil is cooked slowly in stone ovens over three days, crushed with a steel roller mill and fermented about four days in open-air tanks with natural yeast. It is distilled twice, first in stainless pots with copper coils, then in copper stills.

El Arenal sits at about 1,450 meters in the Tequila valley west of Guadalajara and is known as the gateway to agave country. Its name comes from the sandy ground of the first settlement, and it belonged to Amatitán until it became its own municipality in 1923. Most of the land is flat or gently rolling farmland on volcanic rock, planted with blue agave and corn. Tequila making is the main industry, and the town lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
