A rare collaboration between craft and curiosity, Yeyo Sip Tequila Reposado Tropical Single Barrel 13 is one of only 14 barrels released in the Tropical Edition, making it among the most coveted limited releases in the Sip Tequila portfolio.
Crafted under the careful watch of Master Distiller Sergio Cruz at NOM 1414 in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco, this reposado spends up to 7 months resting in barrels that were previously used to age five distinct rums sourced from small distilleries across a five-year period. That layered rum influence, expertly blended before meeting Yeyo's highland blue agave spirit, brings a tropical depth that sets this single barrel release apart from any standard reposado on the market.
- Nose: Warm tropical fruit and subtle oak with lingering rum-kissed sweetness rise from the glass, hinting at the barrel's rich five-year rum history.
- Palate: Ripe stone fruit, caramelized pineapple, and soft vanilla weave through a bright agave backbone, balanced by the gentle spice characteristic of Los Altos tequila.
- Finish: Smooth and unhurried, with a warm fade of toasted oak, dried fruit, and a whisper of molasses that invites another sip.
This Sip Exclusive reposado shines on its own over a large ice cube, but adventurous drinkers will find it adds extraordinary depth to a tropical Paloma or a rum-inspired Jungle Bird riff that leans into the barrel's character.
