Aguasol Reposado Tequila is the meeting point of vibrant agave character and the gentle refinement that only time in oak can deliver. Rested for three months in American bourbon barrels, this additive-free expression from Jalisco's celebrated Cascahuín Distillery (NOM 1123) is a study in balance and authenticity.

Crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave using the same time-honored methods as Aguasol's Blanco, this reposado is distilled at Cascahuín Distillery in the Jalisco highlands tradition. The three-month rest in American oak is precisely calibrated to coax out natural complexity while preserving the clean, expressive agave foundation that defines the Aguasol style. Certified additive-free, every bottle reflects a commitment to purity that discerning tequila lovers can taste.

  • Nose: Warm vanilla and sweet caramel rise from the glass, layered with a hint of toasted oak and the fresh brightness of cooked agave.
  • Palate: Smooth and approachable, with notes of butterscotch, baking spice, and ripe agave that develop gracefully on the tongue.
  • Finish: Clean and gently lingering, with a subtle spice warmth and a whisper of honeyed oak that fades elegantly.

Aguasol Reposado shines in a classic Tequila Old Fashioned, where its bourbon barrel notes feel right at home, and it brings a polished depth to a Paloma that elevates the cocktail beyond the ordinary.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to let the oak-aged complexity unfold; crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave in Jalisco, Mexico.

Aguasol was started by Charles Attal, co-founder of the company behind the Austin City Limits festival, and Eddie Margain, co-founder of Austin FC, after the idea came up backstage at ACL. They spent four years visiting distilleries before choosing the Rosales family's Cascahuín in El Arenal. Agave grown around 1,400 meters in volcanic soil is cooked slowly in stone ovens over three days, crushed with a steel roller mill and fermented about four days in open-air tanks with natural yeast. It is distilled twice, first in stainless pots with copper coils, then in copper stills.
LOCATION

El Arenal, Jalisco

El Arenal sits at about 1,450 meters in the Tequila valley west of Guadalajara and is known as the gateway to agave country. Its name comes from the sandy ground of the first settlement, and it belonged to Amatitán until it became its own municipality in 1923. Most of the land is flat or gently rolling farmland on volcanic rock, planted with blue agave and corn. Tequila making is the main industry, and the town lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
