Compoveda Reposado Tequila bridges the worlds of premium tequila, fine whiskey, and aged spirits through a distinctive double-barrel process that sets it apart from anything else in the Highland category. Eight months in second-fill American Oak Bourbon barrels coax a depth of character from 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave that rewards every slow sip.
Crafted at Agroindustria Guadalajara under the guidance of Master Distiller Sixto Vera Garcia, this Los Altos Jalisco reposado draws its identity from the mineral-rich highlands of Capilla de Guadalupe, a region celebrated for producing agave with pronounced sweetness and complexity. The double-barrel aging method builds a velvety texture that feels as deliberate and refined as the landscape that shapes it.
- Nose: Sweet cinnamon, cooked agave, vanilla bean, and dried cranberries open with warmth and inviting depth.
- Palate: Caramelized cooked agave anchors a rich mid-palate layered with cranberries, vanilla, light cream, cinnamon, and a whisper of whiskey-inspired baking spices, building toward a full-bodied peak before settling into a dry finish.
- Finish: Lasting and pleasantly evolving, the finish continues to unfold as the tequila rests in the glass, rewarding patience with new nuances on every breath.
Compoveda Reposado holds its own neat or on the rocks, and its whiskey-forward baking spice notes make it a compelling choice for an elevated Tequila Old Fashioned or a sophisticated Paloma where depth matters as much as refreshment.
Best enjoyed neat in a wide-mouthed glass to let the aromas breathe. Compoveda Reposado is crafted from 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, under NOM 1068.
