A landmark collaboration between Don Felipe Camarena of La Altena distillery and Alain Royer of A. de Fussigny Cognac, El Tesoro Paradiso Extra Anejo Tequila represents one of the most celebrated achievements in premium tequila history. Aged five years in French oak ex-Cognac barrels, this Los Altos expression bridges two worlds of fine spirits craftsmanship in a single, extraordinary bottle.
Produced at the revered La Altena distillery in Arandas, in the highland region of Los Altos, Jalisco, El Tesoro has long been a defining name in artisanal tequila production. The Camarena family's traditional approach, combined with the influence of rare French oak ex-Cognac barrels, gives Paradiso its unmistakably luxurious character and depth that set it apart from any other extra anejo on the market.
- Nose: Butterscotch, ripe fruits, roasted agave, and fresh pineapple open with warmth and elegance.
- Palate: Bold oak presence accentuates rich agave character alongside grilled peaches, salted caramel, toasted nuts, and stewed cherries for a layered, complex experience.
- Finish: Full bodied and long lasting, with lingering notes of butterscotch and caramel that invite another sip.
El Tesoro Paradiso Extra Anejo is best appreciated neat or over a single large ice cube to let its complexity unfold. For those who enjoy cocktails, it elevates an Old Fashioned or a classic Sidecar with remarkable depth.
Serve neat or on the rocks to honor five years of patient aging. Crafted from highland blue agave at NOM 1139, La Altena distillery, Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco.
