Crafted at Premium de Jalisco under the direction of Master Distiller Alberto Herrera, Insolito Extra Anejo earns its name with a dual-region agave blend that brings depth and balance in equal measure. The highland and lowland agaves each contribute distinct character, then four years of oak aging weaves everything together into a spirit that needs nothing added and nothing hidden.
- Nose: Warm dried fruits, vanilla bean, and cinnamon open with inviting richness.
- Palate: Roasted agave leads into golden raisins, baking spices, and dried apricots, with touches of drying oak lending structure.
- Finish: Full bodied, naturally sweet, and lasting.
Insolito Extra Anejo shines as a slow sipper served neat, but its baking spice depth also makes it a compelling choice for an elevated Old Fashioned or a refined Tequila Manhattan.
Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to let the oak and dried fruit notes fully open up. Produced from a blend of Los Altos and Valley agaves in Mazamitla, Jalisco, NOM 1558.
