Rooted in the ancient highlands of El Arenal, Jalisco, Lagrimas El Sabino Plata is a tequila blanco of rare terroir-driven character, produced at the storied Tequila Cascahuin distillery under NOM 1123. The El Sabino estate sits at 1,261 meters near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Guachimontones, and every sip carries that elevation in its crisp, mineral-forward personality.

Crafted at Cascahuin, one of Jalisco's most respected traditional distilleries, this plata expression draws on highland-grown blue agave to deliver a profile that is bright, herbal, and unmistakably of its place. Confirmed Additive Free by Tequila Matchmaker, Lagrimas El Sabino Plata is a benchmark of transparency and quality in the blanco category.

  • Nose: Fresh mint, lemon tea, eucalyptus, and lifted citrus zest.
  • Palate: Vibrant minerality up front, giving way to sweet cooked agave, dried oregano, and a bouquet of fresh herbs.
  • Finish: Medium bodied with a smooth, slightly buttery finish that lingers cleanly.

The herbal brightness and mineral spine of this blanco make it a natural fit for a classic Paloma or a fresh Tommy's Margarita, where its citrus and cooked agave notes can truly shine.

Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate its full terroir expression; a highland blue agave tequila from El Arenal, Jalisco, bottled straight from distillation without additives.

Lágrimas is produced in collaboration with the Rosales family, of Tequila Cascahuin, lead by current Master Distiller, Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo – the fourth generation of his family, their distilling tradition dating back to 1904 in El Arenal, Jalisco; within the heart of the “Valley” of Tequila. Each bottling carries the vintage date of harvest, the name of the single ranch, as well as details pertaining to its elevation, location and distinctive characteristics. Lagrimas del Valle translates to “Tears of the Valley” – representing the tears that form both on a tasting glass from high quality Agave spirits, as well as the “tears” or condensed spirits falling into the still, the transformation of Agave into Tequila itself.
