Clase Azul Plata sets a new standard for what a blanco tequila can be, arriving in the brand's iconic hand-decorated ceramic bottle and delivering a sipping experience as refined as its presentation.

Crafted at Casa Tradicion (NOM 1595) in the highland agave country of San Agustin, Jalisco, this blanco expression is made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the rich volcanic soils that define the region's signature flavor profile. The highland terroir lends the spirit its characteristic brightness and natural sweetness, unmasked by barrel aging.

  • Nose: Vanilla, cracked pepper, cooked agave, and ripe fruits
  • Palate: Sweet and very smooth with prominent flavors of vanilla, caramel, and bright high notes of orange
  • Finish: Smooth and lingering with lasting sweetness and a gentle peppery warmth

Clase Azul Plata shines in a classic Margarita or a Paloma, where its natural sweetness and citrus lift complement the cocktail without competing with it.

Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its depth, this highland Jalisco blanco tequila is as much a collector's piece as it is a pleasure to drink.

Clase Azul México was founded by Arturo Lomelí, and master distiller Viridiana Tinoco guides every spirit it makes today. Its tequilas come from La Hacienda in Capilla de Guadalupe, in Los Altos de Jalisco, where highland Blue Weber agave is cooked in stone ovens and double distilled in copper pot stills. The mezcals are made in Durango, Guerrero and San Luis Potosí, each from an agave native to that state. Every ceramic decanter is shaped and hand-painted by artisans, and the Reposado decanter alone takes seven days to make.

Capilla de Guadalupe is a small city in the municipality of Tepatitlán, in Los Altos de Jalisco, set at about 2,020 meters on a highland valley ringed by hills such as Cerro Gordo. Founded in 1820, it lies inside the tequila denomination of origin, and tequila is its leading industry, along with agave syrup and inulin made from the same plant. The red soils and cool winters of the plateau, where snow has occasionally fallen, suit slow-growing blue agave.
