Mandala Reposado strikes the balance between bright agave and gentle oak, poured from a hand painted ceramic bottle that is a work of art in its own right. A short rest in wood softens the spirit without ever masking its blue Weber agave heart.

Crafted by Tequila Mandala in the agave country of Jalisco, this reposado is made from fully mature blue Weber agave slow roasted in traditional brick ovens. After distillation, the tequila rests in oak barrels just long enough to take on a golden hue and rounded character, layering subtle caramel and vanilla over fresh cooked agave.

Nose: Cooked agave, light caramel, vanilla, and a touch of citrus
Palate: Smooth and balanced, with agave sweetness, soft oak, honey, and gentle spice
Finish: Clean and warm, closing on mellow agave and a whisper of vanilla

This reposado is a natural in a Reposado Margarita or a Paloma, where its rounded oak notes add depth without overpowering.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large cube to let the oak and agave settle in. 100% blue Weber agave, Jalisco, Mexico.

Tequila Mandala is made at Tequilas de Autor, a small distillery in El Aguacate, in the El Grullo valley of southwest Jalisco. The distillery cooks its agave in brick ovens, crushes it with a tahona and ferments it in open-air wooden tanks with deep well water before distilling in pot stills. Mandala is made in small batches from mature Blue Weber agave. Each 1 liter bottle is hand-painted ceramic, so no two look exactly alike, which makes it a natural gift.
LOCATION

El Aguacate, Jalisco

El Aguacate is a small farming community in the municipality of El Grullo, in the Sierra de Amula region of southwest Jalisco. The El Grullo valley lies at roughly 800 to 900 meters, with a warm, semi-humid climate and flat alluvial farmland watered by the Ayuquila River. The Sierra de Manantlán rises to the south, and the valley has its own traditional agave drink, called lechuguilla. It sits far from the Tequila valley and the Highlands, yet inside the tequila appellation.
