Manuscrito Blanco Chapter 1 is a story told in agave: a single-estate blanco tequila from the red volcanic highlands of Los Altos that balances sweet cooked agave, bright citrus, and lush vegetal character in one seamless pour.
Crafted by Master Distiller Oscar Vazquez Camarena at the El Sabino distillery in Jesus Maria, Mexico, this Highland blanco begins with 100% Blue Weber agave grown for six to eight years on a single estate, allowing the rich Los Altos terroir to fully express itself in every bottle.
- Nose: Wet grass, white pepper, lemon zest, fresh mint, and grape over a foundation of sweet cooked agave.
- Palate: Roasted agave takes center stage alongside bell pepper, citrus, and a gentle herbaceous quality that reflects the volcanic soil of the highlands.
- Finish: Cool, clean, and vegetal with lingering agave sweetness and a touch of white pepper.
Manuscrito Blanco Chapter 1 shines in a classic Paloma, where its citrus and mineral notes play beautifully against grapefruit, and holds its own in a well-crafted Tommy's Margarita that lets the agave character speak for itself.
Best enjoyed neat or on a large rock to appreciate its full complexity; made from single-estate 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco.
