Yeyo High Proof Blanco is tequila stripped of compromise, bottled at full strength to deliver every layer of flavor the agave intended. By forgoing the addition of water, Master Distiller Sergio Cruz preserves the spirit's raw depth and natural character in every pour.

Crafted at NOM 1414 in Arandas, deep in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, this blanco draws from blue agave fields nurtured by the region's rich red clay soils and high-altitude growing conditions. During fermentation, 5% agave fibers are incorporated into the process, building an exceptional richness and complexity that sets this expression apart from standard blancos.

  • Nose: Vibrant tropical fruit and bright citrus lead the way, layered with sweet cooked agave and a subtle earthy minerality.
  • Palate: Lush and full-bodied, with sweet agave at the core, complemented by cinnamon, white pepper, and fruity undertones mingling with a refreshing lift of spearmint.
  • Finish: Long, buttery, and warmly spiced, with a gentle heat that lingers beautifully.

The bold proof and layered flavor profile make Yeyo High Proof Blanco a standout in a Spicy Margarita or a Tommy's Margarita, where its natural agave sweetness and peppery warmth can truly shine.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to let the full complexity open up. Yeyo High Proof Blanco is crafted from blue agave in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco.

NOM: 1414
Yéyo is made at Destilería El Ranchito, NOM 1414, in Arandas, where Master Distiller and part owner Sergio Cruz works with the Vivanco family. Single-estate Blue Weber agave is slow cooked in brick ovens for more than 53 hours. It ferments for nearly eight days with Champagne yeast and deep-well water while classical music plays, then runs twice through copper pot stills. The barrel program sets Yéyo apart, from Foursquare rum casks to Syrah, Sherry, Port and peach wine. Founder Jon Bullinger left a job at Intel in 2009 to start the brand and still returns to the distillery about ten times a year.

Map of Jalisco, Mexico, with Arandas marked

Arandas sits at about 2,000 meters in Los Altos de Jalisco, the highland plateau east of Guadalajara. Its red, clay-rich soils and mild, temperate climate let blue agave grow slowly and build up sugar, the source of the sweet, fruity and floral style the Highlands are known for. Agave fields cover much of the municipality, and Arandas is one of the busiest tequila-making towns in Mexico. The town is also known for its giant church bell, often called the largest in Latin America.
