Adictivo Plata redefines what a blanco tequila can be, offering a surprising softness that sets it apart from the crowd of silver spirits. Crafted in El Arenal, Jalisco under the guidance of Master Distiller Gildardo Partida, this unaged tequila earns its name by being genuinely hard to put down.

Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and produced at NOM 1653, Adictivo Plata undergoes a brief three-week rest in French oak barrels after distillation. This short contact smooths away the sharp edges typical of blanco tequila while keeping the agave character vivid and intact, resulting in a spirit that drinks beautifully neat or elevates any cocktail it touches.

  • Nose: Herbaceous and lightly sweet with welcoming hints of vanilla
  • Palate: Cooked agave, vanilla, and a gentle kick of white pepper
  • Finish: Soft, warm, and full-bodied with a satisfying, lingering close

Adictivo Plata shines in a classic Margarita, where its smooth texture and fruity agave notes bring real depth to the drink. It also makes an exceptional Paloma, letting the vanilla and pepper notes play beautifully against fresh grapefruit.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to appreciate its full range of flavors. Adictivo Plata is a 100% Blue Weber Agave blanco tequila from El Arenal, Jalisco, and a standout choice for gifting or everyday sipping alike.

Adictivo is the tequila of Gildardo Partida, a maestro tequilero whose family has made tequila for more than 100 years. He and his wife, Pilar Rivas Ruiz, founded El Castillo de Tequila in El Arenal, Jalisco, a distillery built to look like a 16th century castle. Agave grown in El Arenal is cooked in volcanic stone ovens and autoclaves, crushed with a motorized tahona and a mill, and distilled in hybrid copper and stainless steel stills. The tequila then rests in French and American oak, and even the Plata spends three weeks in French white oak. The heavy, twisted glass bottle makes it easy to spot.
LOCATION

El Arenal, Jalisco

El Arenal sits at about 1,450 meters in the Tequila valley west of Guadalajara and is known as the gateway to agave country. Its name comes from the sandy ground of the first settlement, and it belonged to Amatitán until it became its own municipality in 1923. Most of the land is flat or gently rolling farmland on volcanic rock, planted with blue agave and corn. Tequila making is the main industry, and the town lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
