A tequila that defies easy categorization, Lobos 1707 Joven is a masterful blend of premium Blanco and Reposado tequilas that delivers a depth of flavor no standard Silver tequila can match.

Crafted at Companía Tequilera de Arandas under NOM 1460 in the highland region of Arandas, Jalisco, this Joven expression begins with mature Blanco tequila made from hand-selected Blue Weber agave, then marries it with a measure of Lobos 1707 Reposado to create a spirit that bridges the bright energy of an unaged tequila with the settled character of one that has rested.

  • Nose: Smooth, fresh, and floral, with bright aromatic presence and none of the harsh edge you might expect from a young tequila.
  • Palate: Well-balanced with subtle balsamic tones and vivid notes of freshly cut Blue Weber agave at the core.
  • Finish: Long-lasting and sweet, leaving a clean, lingering warmth.

The natural sweetness and floral lift of Lobos 1707 Joven make it a standout in a Paloma or a classic Tequila Soda, where its agave-forward character can shine without competition.

Serve over a large ice cube to let the aromas open gradually, or enjoy neat to experience the full range of this Arandas, Jalisco Joven tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave. A refined choice whether sipped solo or mixed.

Lobos 1707 was founded in 2020 by Diego Osorio, with backing from basketball great LeBron James. Lobos is Spanish for wolves, the animal on the Osorio family coat of arms. The tequila is made at Compañía Tequilera de Arandas (NOM 1460) in the Jalisco Highlands from 100% Blue Weber agave, cooked in autoclaves, roller milled and distilled twice in copper pot stills. Every expression is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels using the solera method. The Mezcal Artesanal is 100% Espadín from Oaxaca, roasted in a wood-fired conical pit oven.

Map of Jalisco, Mexico, with Arandas marked

Arandas sits at about 2,000 meters in Los Altos de Jalisco, the highland plateau east of Guadalajara. Its red, clay-rich soils and mild, temperate climate let blue agave grow slowly and build up sugar, the source of the sweet, fruity and floral style the Highlands are known for. Agave fields cover much of the municipality, and Arandas is one of the busiest tequila-making towns in Mexico. The town is also known for its giant church bell, often called the largest in Latin America.
