A tequila that defies easy categorization, Lobos 1707 Joven is crafted by blending premium aged Blanco with a measure of Lobos 1707 Reposado, delivering a depth and maturity that sets it apart from any other Silver on the market.

Produced under NOM 1460 in the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco, this Joven expression draws on the region's mineral-rich red clay soils and high-altitude Blue Weber agave to achieve a flavor profile that bridges the brightness of an unaged tequila with the roundness of a rested spirit.

  • Nose: Smooth, fresh, and floral, with bright aromatic presence and none of the sharp bite typical of younger tequilas.
  • Palate: Well-balanced with subtle balsamic tones and pronounced notes of freshly cut Blue Weber agave.
  • Finish: Long-lasting and sweet, leaving a satisfying warmth that lingers well beyond the last sip.

The approachable complexity of this Joven makes it a natural fit for a classic Paloma or a refined Tequila Sour, where its floral brightness and agave-forward character can truly shine.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to appreciate its full range of character; sourced from the celebrated highlands of Arandas, Jalisco, and crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave.

Lobos 1707 was founded in 2020 by Diego Osorio, with backing from basketball great LeBron James. Lobos is Spanish for wolves, the animal on the Osorio family coat of arms. The tequila is made at Compañía Tequilera de Arandas (NOM 1460) in the Jalisco Highlands from 100% Blue Weber agave, cooked in autoclaves, roller milled and distilled twice in copper pot stills. Every expression is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels using the solera method. The Mezcal Artesanal is 100% Espadín from Oaxaca, roasted in a wood-fired conical pit oven.

Arandas sits at about 2,000 meters in Los Altos de Jalisco, the highland plateau east of Guadalajara. Its red, clay-rich soils and mild, temperate climate let blue agave grow slowly and build up sugar, the source of the sweet, fruity and floral style the Highlands are known for. Agave fields cover much of the municipality, and Arandas is one of the busiest tequila-making towns in Mexico. The town is also known for its giant church bell, often called the largest in Latin America.
