Maestro Dobel Anejo is a refined expression of highland craftsmanship, delivering the depth and complexity that defines a truly exceptional aged tequila. Rested in oak to develop rich, layered character, this anejo strikes a balance between heritage tradition and polished elegance.

Crafted from 100% blue Weber agave in the storied tequila-producing region of Jalisco, Mexico, Maestro Dobel Anejo undergoes careful barrel aging that draws out the natural sweetness of the agave while adding warmth and structure from the wood. The result is a spirit that honors the slow, deliberate process behind great anejo tequila.

  • Nose: Warm caramel, toasted oak, and subtle vanilla with a hint of dried fruit and gentle spice
  • Palate: Rich dark chocolate, butterscotch, and roasted agave notes layered with cinnamon and a touch of dried cherry
  • Finish: Long and smooth with lingering woody warmth, light toffee sweetness, and a soft peppery close

Maestro Dobel Anejo shines in a classic Old Fashioned, where its oak-forward depth pairs beautifully with bitters and orange, or enjoy it in a Tequila Manhattan for a sophisticated agave-driven twist on a timeless cocktail.

Best appreciated neat or over a single large ice cube to let the full complexity unfold. Maestro Dobel Anejo is produced from 100% blue Weber agave, rooted in the Jalisco highlands tradition of premium tequila production.

Maestro Dobel comes from Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, an 11th-generation tequila maker whose family story spans more than 250 years. Agave from a single family-owned estate in the Tequila Valley is steam-roasted in masonry brick ovens at La Rojeña II and double distilled in copper pot stills. Most bottles start on a four-step roller mill, while Dobel Tahona is crushed by a volcanic stone wheel and fermented with wild yeast. Dobel introduced Diamante, the original cristalino, a filtered blend of Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo. Each bottle is signed by its creator and a maestro tequilero.
LOCATION

Tequila, Jalisco

Tequila is the town that gave the spirit its name, set at about 1,180 meters in the valley below the Tequila volcano, some 60 km northwest of Guadalajara. Blue agave covers the volcanic soils between the volcano and the canyon of the Río Grande de Santiago, a landscape UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006. Large-scale agave distilling began here around 1600, and several of the oldest working distilleries in Mexico still operate in town. Tequila was named a Pueblo Mágico in 2003.
