A masterwork of transparency and depth, Volcan De Mi Tierra Reposado Cristalino reveals the rare beauty of a tequila refined through both time and artful filtration. Born from 100% Blue Weber agave rooted in the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Jalisco's lowlands, this cristalino expression earns its elegance through a distinctive dual-cask journey.

The liquid begins its life aged in American oak barrels, where it develops structure and warmth, before being transferred to Old World casks that coax out a natural sweetness and silken smoothness. The filtration process that follows strips the color while preserving the soul, producing a tequila with the clarity of a blanco and the complexity of a seasoned reposado.

  • Nose: Inviting and refined, with bright agave forward aromatics, subtle vanilla from the oak aging, and a whisper of warm spice that speaks to its time in the barrel.
  • Palate: Luxuriously layered with dark chocolate, caramel, and a distinctive thread of tobacco that lends welcome warmth and depth to every sip.
  • Finish: Long, smooth, and beautifully balanced, fading with gentle sweetness and a lingering cocoa note that invites the next pour.

Volcan De Mi Tierra Reposado Cristalino shines in a Tequila Old Fashioned, where its chocolate and caramel notes find perfect companionship with a touch of bitters and orange. It also elevates a classic Paloma, adding a refined depth that sets it apart from standard expressions.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to fully appreciate its layered character. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from the fertile volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Volcán de Mi Tierra is named for the Tequila volcano, whose eruption about 200,000 years ago left the valley's soil rich in basalt and iron. The brand began in 2017 as a partnership between Moët Hennessy and the Gallardo family, who have owned Hacienda La Gavilana in the volcano's shadow since the 17th century. Master tequilier Tomás Pérez blends agave from the Valley and the Highlands at the brand's distillery in Huaxtla, Jalisco. The agave cooks for 42 hours in stone ovens and ferments slowly in wood tanks before two distillations in copper pots.

Huaxtla is a farming community of about 2,000 people in the municipality of El Arenal, in the Tequila valley west of Guadalajara. The land around it is mostly flat volcanic farmland between roughly 1,400 and 1,600 meters, with a semi-warm climate and summer rains. Blue agave and corn are the main crops, and tequila making is the municipality's leading industry. El Arenal lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
