Released as a collector's showcase of ultra-premium craftsmanship, Maestro Dobel Atelier Extra Anejo 2023 arrives in a distinctively designed bottle that doubles as a work of art. This limited-release extra anejo tequila represents the pinnacle of Dobel's commitment to pushing the boundaries of aged agave spirits.

Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco from 100% blue Weber agave, Maestro Dobel Atelier Extra Anejo undergoes an extended aging process that coaxes extraordinary depth and complexity from the spirit. The Atelier expression is a celebration of patience and artisanal precision, with each release offering a glimpse into the upper echelon of what extra anejo tequila can achieve.

  • Nose: Rich caramel, toasted oak, and dried fruit layered with vanilla bean and warm baking spice
  • Palate: Velvety agave sweetness balanced by dark chocolate, candied orange peel, and notes of roasted nuts with a gentle smoky undertone
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering hints of espresso, cinnamon, and honeyed wood

Maestro Dobel Atelier Extra Anejo is a natural star in a Tequila Old Fashioned, where its oak-driven richness can truly shine, or served alongside a premium Champagne float for a festive elevated sipper.

Best enjoyed neat in a wide-mouthed snifter or over a single large ice cube to allow the aromas to fully open. Please note that bottle design and color may vary per unit, and if multiple bottles are ordered, every effort is made to provide unique designs. Produced from 100% blue Weber agave, Jalisco, Mexico. Single bottle pricing applies.

Maestro Dobel comes from Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, an 11th-generation tequila maker whose family story spans more than 250 years. Agave from a single family-owned estate in the Tequila Valley is steam-roasted in masonry brick ovens at La Rojeña II and double distilled in copper pot stills. Most bottles start on a four-step roller mill, while Dobel Tahona is crushed by a volcanic stone wheel and fermented with wild yeast. Dobel introduced Diamante, the original cristalino, a filtered blend of Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo. Each bottle is signed by its creator and a maestro tequilero.
LOCATION

Tequila, Jalisco

Tequila is the town that gave the spirit its name, set at about 1,180 meters in the valley below the Tequila volcano, some 60 km northwest of Guadalajara. Blue agave covers the volcanic soils between the volcano and the canyon of the Río Grande de Santiago, a landscape UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006. Large-scale agave distilling began here around 1600, and several of the oldest working distilleries in Mexico still operate in town. Tequila was named a Pueblo Mágico in 2003.
