Codigo 1530 Reposado Cristalino is where aged complexity meets crystalline clarity, a tequila that has been meticulously filtered to remove its color while preserving every layer of flavor developed during its reposado rest.

Crafted in the Jalisco highlands tradition, this cristalino expression begins as a barrel-aged reposado before undergoing a careful charcoal filtration process that strips the amber hue without sacrificing the rich, oak-kissed character beneath. The result is a spirit that looks as pristine as a blanco but drinks with the depth and sophistication of a fully rested tequila, all built on a foundation of 100% blue Weber agave.

  • Nose: Delicate vanilla and light oak open alongside fresh agave sweetness, with soft floral and citrus undertones
  • Palate: Smooth and refined, delivering caramel, toasted oak, and ripe tropical fruit with a silky, well-integrated texture
  • Finish: Clean and lingering, with a gentle warmth and faint spice that fades gracefully

The Codigo 1530 Reposado Cristalino shines in an elevated Tequila Sour or a sophisticated Paloma, where its clarity and depth add dimension without overpowering the glass.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to fully appreciate its filtered elegance; made from 100% blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico.

Código 1530 comes from a single distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco, where a local distilling family made this private recipe for generations. Mature lowland Blue Weber agave is cooked in autoclaves, fermented with local yeast and distilled twice, with water filtered through the volcanic soil of the valley. Every rested expression ages in French white oak barrels that once held Napa Valley Cabernet. Ron Snyder, Federico Vaughan, Betsy Heneghan and country legend George Strait founded the brand in 2017. The name honors Los Códigos, the old customs of Amatitán, and the label carries the Jerusalem Cross from the Jalisco coat of arms.
LOCATION

Amatitán, Jalisco

Amatitán sits in the Tequila valley of Jalisco, a short drive southeast of the town of Tequila. Half of the municipality is flat farmland, mostly red clay soils over volcanic basalt, and blue agave is its main crop in a hot, dry climate with summer rains. Local tradition holds that tequila was first distilled in the nearby Tecuane barranca, where an early distillery site is still a local landmark. Amatitán lies within the Agave Landscape that UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2006.
