  • Barrels 218/219:  American Oak, previously used for Jack Daniels, first fill. Filled on October 18, 2019, emptied November 8, 2022.
  • Barrel 220: American Oak, previously used for Jack Daniels, second fill. Filled on July 3, 2018, emptied June 22, 2022.
  • Barrels 399/400: New French Oak. Filled on September 13, 2018, emptied June 22, 2022. 
  • Bottled in a keepsake crystal decanter, which draws inspiration from the “penca” of the blue weber agave, and it is elegantly presented in a custom box adorned with an earthy embroidery pattern
  • Only 1000 bottles produced.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: toasty sweetness, creamy orange notes, warm vanilla

Palate: cooked agave, touches of slightly spicy oak, earthiness, salted caramel, and dried fruits

Named in honor of the people of Tequila, El Tequileño was founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo with a vision to create only the finest tequila. Sixty years later, El Tequileño is made in the same place using the same recipe by the grandson of Don Jorge.
